Construction update and progressRDO’s new Moses Lake store is located on the northeast corner of Interstate 90 and Highway 17. Upon completion, it will be more than 31,600 square feet.
Work planned for this month includes framing and drywall of the 6,500 square-foot parts warehouse. In the 15,535 square-foot service shop, the first overhead service bay door was installed, and overhead cranes were installed and wired as well. Electrical, HVAC, and plumbing finishes are also scheduled for February.
The year began with an exciting, visible milestone of exterior signage going up. Inside, the HVAC system is nearly complete and building windows are installed. Interior lighting is going into the showroom and painting and interior finishes are in progress in several areas.
Related article: December Moses Lake store construction updateIan notes that painting and finishes in the team member workspaces are among the most notable activities happening this month, as these spaces were a key consideration in the new building design.
“We have experienced exciting growth in the Moses Lake area and, with that, our team expanded and outgrew the existing store,” Ian said. “The new store will have dedicated offices, individual workspaces for everyone, plus a conference room and training center.”
Growing and building the regionBrandon agrees that the expanded work area is a highlight for all team members. He notes the particular significance of the training center, as it will be used by team members across the entire Northwest Agriculture region.
“The training center is the first of its kind in our region,” he said. “It is going to be a great space to aid in learning and development for all team members, ultimately equipping everyone to be a better partner to our customers.”

While the new Moses Lake store is the focus of RDO’s Northwest Agriculture region right now, Brandon shares that it is just the first of many store expansions and upgrades planned in the area.
“RDO is investing in the Columbia Basin area and what’s happening in Moses Lake is only the beginning,” he said. “We have a strong network of 10 stores in the area. Our teams look forward to bringing more value to our wonderful customers and communities through some exciting store improvements and refreshes in the near future.”
