The year is coming to a close. What better way to look back and end 2021 on a high note than with an update of RDO Equipment Co.’s newest store?

Earlier this spring, RDO and partner, BC Contracting, broke ground on the site that will be the new home of RDO in Moses Lake. Upon completion, the store, located on the northeast corner of Interstate 90 and Highway 17, will be more than 31,600 square feet.
Progress moved along swiftly in November and December. Site concrete paving is ongoing, while key work including exterior wall framing and membrane roofing wrapped up. Office drywall and insulation work began, and office electrical, plumbing, EIFS was completed.
An exciting milestone was reached in a key area of the store: the service shop. Slab-on-grade set the foundation for a lot of upcoming work in the 15,535 square-foot space that will have 12 service bays and a wash bay.
According to Ian, the service shop demonstrates a key component of how RDO does business, as well as a testament to the entire region’s commitment to work together and take care of customers.
“We are fortunate to have such a tight-knit network of stores surrounding Moses Lake, from Coulee City to the north of us, Ritzville to the east, and Othello to the south,” he said. “Our customers benefit from the ability to get service at all of our nearby locations, when needed. Now they will have greater convenience to do all their parts and service business right here.”

Brandon adds that the team is excited to have such a large service department to better serve the needs of the local farming community as well as residential customers, too.
“Service is an important piece of our partnership with all our customers,” he said. “The new store is more than doubling our current shop space and includes dedicated areas for lawn and garden equipment in addition to large agriculture machines.”
Brandon says the new store is also expanding its service staff to take care of more customers, both in the field and in the shop. A variety of positions are now open, from internships to management. Anyone interested in joining in the Moses Lake team is encouraged to visit

Additional highlights of the new Moses Lake store include a 2,000 square-foot showroom, with parts counters, reception, and a welcoming area for customers. The 6,500 square-foot parts warehouse features a vertical space technology system for smarter storage and better accessibility to parts.
