It was a big year for Vermeer at CONEXPO in 2017 – literally. Vermeer introduced the HG6800TX horizontal grinder at the show, a mid-size option in the horizontal grinder lineup, yet a machine large enough to take on full-size trees.
This
year, it’s the brand, the people, and the Vermeer message that are coming up big at the booth March 10-14 in Las Vegas, with Vermeer’s ‘Equipped to Do More’ tagline as a central theme.
What’s to Come
Equipment is only one piece of the puzzle. The Vermeer team wants to put the conversation in customers’ hands and talk shop – whether that’s the industry, jobsites, challenges, or of course, equipment. CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2020 is all
about connecting with Vermeer’s experts for the pipeline, recycling and forestry, tree care, and utility industries.
“Vermeer is ready for CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2020,” Jess Mineart of Vermeer said. “When customers take their first step into our booth, we want them to know exactly who Vermeer is - a family owned company who has constantly been committed to
positive customer experiences for more than 70 years. We will celebrate who Vermeer is today because of our strong, global dealer network working alongside our customers by showcasing our brand at the forefront. Coming off an exciting year in 2019
with great growth, we look forward to CONEXPO-CON/AGG catapulting us into a strong 2020.”
Of course, equipment will be in abundance in the Vermeer booth, with at least 15 machines on display, a variety of chippers and grinders, mini
skid steers and plow/trenchers. There will be areas dedicated to Vermeer productivity tools as well as the HDD Simulator, a popular attraction from the 2017 show that puts attendees in the driver’s seat of its HDD Navigator horizontal directional
drill.
Vermeer will also feature a special solution with partner, Carlson Machine Control: Carlson PD Grade. This automated GPS-based machine control system was developed for the Vermeer PD10 pile driver for the solar industry, for greater accuracy
and efficiency placing piles than a traditional staking method.
CONEXPO Connects
In addition to Vermeer, the RDO team is excited to connect with customers at CONEXPO and further build partnerships. We encourage everyone to reach
out to their account manager or other RDO team member to set up a time to meet at the Vermeer booth (Central Hall, C3-C5 – C32529).
No matter your industry, job role, or years working with iron, CONEXPO is all about connections – making new ones and strengthening existing ones. For RDO, our
Vermeer business touches numerous industries and spans the country, from California to the Midwest and back west to Oregon, in addition to our global Vermeer partnerships.
