Close to 40 attendees turned out for a Walk to Defeat ALS event organized by members of the Missoula RDO Equipment Co. team.
Walk to Defeat ALS events are held across the country with the purpose of fundraising to support those living with ALS through care services, research, and advocacy. Aftermarket Manager Eric Mitchell and his wife Jessica organized the event in Missoula, inspired by former longtime team members, Clinton Boehm and the late Randy Hennes.
Clinton, who recently retired from the Service Manager role in Missoula, joined the group and cut the ceremonial ribbon to open the event. Attendees walked, fired up the grill for lunch, played games, and most importantly, enjoyed time together.
“This is a cause close to the hearts of the Missoula RDO team,” Eric said. “Clinton said it did his heart good to see so many people turn out, and that alone made it a success.”
