What is the pay structure (commission vs. base salary)?
RDO salespeople working in roles like Sales Professional, Rental Sales Professional and Account Manager receive a base salary plus a commission incentive.
This depends on your location. Based on your RDO dealership you may sell John Deere agriculture, John Deere construction, Vermeer, Wirtgen, Topcon or another type of equipment.
Most of the time, RDO salespeople are assigned a customer list or territory from their manager. These lists and areas are based on market potential within the region and are formulated to give each salesperson opportunities to succeed.
Many new RDO salespeople embark on a training plan for at least the first 90 days of employment. This includes ride-alongs, job shadowing, cross-training and digital/hands-on product training. There will also be ongoing sales and product training throughout your time here.
RDO takes pride in fostering a supportive, exciting culture. In fact, ensuring a culture fit is an important part of our interview process. Collaboration between salespeople is common as we all work together to help our customers and RDO succeed.
RDO offers a full benefits package, including health benefits, a 401k match, PTO and holiday pay. Learn more about benefits.
