Baptiste Tripard, senseFly, on the Agriculture Technology Podcast

Posted on

After quitting the aviation industry which was, in his words, “too slow, and full of technical standards and regulations,” aerospace engineer Baptiste Tripard entered the drone industry. Now managing director for senseFly, a leader in development and production of professional aerial imaging drones, Baptiste brings the opportunities of drone technology to customers in numerous industries, from agriculture to construction to mining.

Baptiste was invited on the podcast to discuss drones, one of the hottest topics in the country right now. New host of the Agriculture Technology Podcast, Tony Kramer, asked Baptiste about two specific models of senseFly drones, some unique applications he has seen, and which term he personally uses: UAS, UAV or drone.
